Jan.11, 2010, at 11:40 p.m.
A Lakeland lawyer was arrested Monday on grand theft and money laundering charges.
After an investigation by the State Attorney's Office, John Wolf is accused of taking about $1,052 from a client.
Wolf, 61, was released Monday on $2,000 bail, jail records show.
Investigator David W. Lyon wrote in a complaint affidavit that Wolf, who performs debt collections for clients, transferred money from a collections account to his operating account.
Last year, the Florida Supreme Court suspended Wolf for 10 days for commingling client money with his own, according to records of The Florida Bar.
