Jan.16, 2010
A federal indictment naming two local men in a cocaine and money-laundering case has been unsealed in U.S. District Court following their recent arrests.
Jasper Eric Clancy, known as "Big Cuz," of Aliquippa, and Phillip Grayson, known as "Pap Pap," of Homewood, were indicted under seal in November after an investigation by police, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the criminal division of the IRS. Both are accused of conspiracy in distributing 5 kilograms of cocaine or more.
Mr. Clancy was taken into federal custody on Jan. 6 and ordered detained pending trial.
Mr. Grayson was arrested Thursday and released by a federal magistrate on a $50,000 bond. His formal arraignment in U.S. District Court is set for Jan. 21.
