A Baltimore man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for conspiring to launder drug proceeds, federal prosecutors said Monday.
Prosecutors said that from at least 1982 until 2006, Eugene Petasky, 58, knowingly accepted at least $336,000 in cash from drug traffickers in exchange for jewelry.
According to a plea agreement, Petasky owned and operated Metro Brokers Jewelers in Pikesville, formerly in Baltimore.
